Delete Your Respiratory Edge Account

Use the in-app control when possible. If you cannot access the app, use the support-email option below.

IMPORTANT

Account deletion is permanent. It deletes your sign-in account and associated cloud data, but it does not automatically erase notes stored only on your phone or refund Google Play purchases.

1. Delete in the App

  1. Open Respiratory Edge and sign in to the account you want to delete.
  2. Open the main menu and select Account.
  3. Select Delete account.
  4. Enter the account email and password again, then confirm Delete permanently.
  5. Wait for the app to confirm that the account and synchronized study data were deleted. If cleanup is interrupted, sign in and retry until completion is confirmed.

2. Request Deletion Without the App

Email support@medicaleducationdynamics.com from the email address used for your Respiratory Edge account. Use the subject Respiratory Edge account deletion and clearly state that you want the account deleted.

We may ask for a limited verification step before acting so another person cannot delete your account. Never email your password, API key, complete purchase token, patient information, or medical records.

3. What Is Deleted

  • Your Firebase sign-in account.
  • Your Respiratory Edge synchronized study collections, including synchronized notes, highlights, preferences, progress, and positions.
  • Your Respiratory Edge receipt-verification records.

A minimal coded deletion marker remains to prevent delayed requests from restoring erased receipt data. It does not contain an email address, purchase token, order details, notes, or study content.

4. What Is Not Automatically Deleted

  • Notes and study information stored only on your phone. Remove these separately using the app's local controls or your device's app-data controls.
  • Files or text you exported, printed, copied, or shared to another service.
  • Google Play purchase and payment records controlled by Google.
  • Any purchase refund, cancellation, or subscription action. Manage these separately through Google Play.
  • Limited records that must be retained for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or fraud prevention.
